The quiet window
We imagined this chair as a place where a person might come to slow down for a moment. To think, to speak softly, maybe even to listen to themselves. Some seats push you into a posture. This one only offers a pause.
While creating it, we were inspired by those small platforms near old windows where afternoons slowed down on their own, and the world outside felt distant enough to watch, but close enough to care about.
If this chair can bring back even a fragment of that stillness,
then perhaps it has done what it was meant to do.
We shaped it in ash wood, letting the grain decide more than the sketch. The form may belong to today, but the quiet inside it… that comes from somewhere older.
We begin this chair only after we speak to you. A small conversation tells us enough, not details, just a sense of who you are. We hold that in our minds as we shape the wood.
It takes three weeks before it leaves our hands for your home. Those weeks matter. The wait is part of the making.
After all, we are trying to create something for you that would outlive us.

- Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and high humidity.
- Avoid using chemical or harsh cleaning agents on both wood and fabric.
- Clean the wooden surface with a slightly moist cloth and dry promptly.
- Vacuum the upholstery regularly using a soft brush attachment.
- Wipe spills immediately even though the wax finish makes the wood water-resistant.
- Re-wax the furniture every 4–6 months using the care kit provided to maintain sheen and protection.
